We're finally all moved in to our new place, and can I tell you something, folks? I'm not of the religious ilk, but thank god it's over. I've moved 4 times in the 8 years I've lived in Minneapolis, and it never ceases to amaze me just how much shit one person can collect and stuff away in a closet, only to be found when it's time to move again. But at least I found that gigantic bag of condoms I bought 5 years ago when we first started dating!

Too bad they expire, well, tomorrow.

When of the big problems we've had moving here is that the landlord asked us what we wanted left behind and what he should move. He had a couch we wanted for at least the short term, but our big mistake was not being specific in exactly what should be left behind. For example, he left behind 3 ironing boards. Those, in addition to the two that Molly and I had at our previous residence, we have fivegoddamnsonofabitchin' ironing boards now. That means we use one as a real board on which we iron, Molly uses one as an eatin' tray/pretend surfboard, and the other three just sit in the closet and act all stupid.

Speaking of acting stupid, Molly wants a kitten.

Lovely. That's all I'm going to say about that.

I had something else all typed out about cats vs. dogs, but I realized I'm out of beer and the kegerator is all the way downstairs. Does anyone know anything about installing a dumbwaiter?
