Pokerama-rama! Now with more beer!

Beer, brewing and poker, with possibly some inane drivel on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Yes, I'm still alive, I just haven't been writing in this for a few reasons. One, the weather is just too damn nice for me to sit inside and play much poker. Soon, it'll get dark at 5pm, and with the weather turning colder, my sights will be set on playing as much as possible. For now, though, I'm going to suck up as much of the outdoors as I can. Secondly, I'm still in the midst of that stupid move that's been taking most of my time outside of when I'm enjoying myself. I'll be done with that next week, so until everything is squared away with transferring cable to the new place, and whatnot, I won't get much playing done. Third, I've been doing a lot of writing in other arenas lately, and my writing isn't infinitely sustainable like that. I wish that I could be likePauly and continuosly write until my fingerprints are worn away, but for me, that's not really possible. I tend to blow my figurative writing load fairly quickly, and with me writing about topics outside of poker, it doesn't leave much left with which to write in here. I need to find a way to overcome that, really.

So, there you have it. No bad beats, no suck-outs, and really no poker content at all. I'd rather not let this site just drift away, though, hence this post. I still read all the same journals as before, I'm just not writing for now. I'm sure I'll get to pop on Party Poker, but for now, it will only be sporadically at best.

Slainte!

Canterbury Park

Just a quick question; Are any other fellow Minnesotans thinking about playing in any Fall Poker Classic events being held at Canterbury this month. I might take a stab at a few.
